Little Miss was a malnourished orphaned yearling when she was rescued by Lisa and her family back in 1982 in central Minnesota. Little did they know then what their magical journey would be together that would eventually lead them to California where Miss would live out 27 of her 36 years! Amazing!

Rescuing horses and all animals in need makes a world of difference, not just in the animal’s life, of course, but in those who rescue them! It’s life changing for all!

That’s why Lisa (and Little Miss) believe it’s important to give back, and so a portion of the proceeds of Little Miss’s first book, The Ride of Our Life: Lessons in Faith, Love, and Wisdom, Book One—The Early Years, will be donated to helping other rescues through the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation.

For those of you in Minnesota—or anywhere, actually—if you feel called to directly donate or adopt from them, please check out their website!
